No More Flints

Everyone deserves safe, affordable water. And the EPA has the power to help prevent future disasters like Flint. Tell the EPA: ensure access to safe, affordable drinking water and adequate sanitation.

Why is this important?

Right now, in this country, parents are facing a decision between paying for safe drinking water or putting food on the table.

In the wake of the Flint lead poisoning disaster, we need to ask ourselves and our elected officials: how can we let this happen? Today, one in five U.S. families are forced to spend more than they can afford on water. Black and Latino communities are often hit hardest by these staggering expenses — and even at these outrageous prices, that water isn't necessarily safe.

The Obama Administration has an opportunity to change that, making access to safe, affordable drinking water and adequate sanitation a key part of its Climate Action Plan. A climate action plan without that is simply not comprehensive or just. But they won’t do it unless they hear from us.
