Trumpcare is back. Paul Ryan and Republican extremists are scrambling one more time to try and rush Trump's rejected, train-wreck of a health care bill through Congress. And now it's even worse. Not only are they trying again to kick 24 million Americans off of their health care, they're now trying to end protections for pre-existing conditions as well. 

The new plan eliminates the requirement for “community rating”, which guarantees that people will not be changed more on their health insurance based on their health. Without community rating, insurers can charge extremely high rates, making coverage unaffordable for most Americans, or refuse to ensure them altogether. 

We know what it looks like when we allow insurance companies to make these decisions based on people's medical history—that's how things were before the Affordable Care Act. This plan would wreck health care in America. We have to stop it now—for good—which means repeating what stopped the first ACA repeal: a hurricane of constituent pressure on Republican House members.

On Thursday, May 4, MoveOn members and allies across the country will hold rapid-response noon rallies outside of local district offices and tell their Representatives, in no uncertain terms: "Do NOT Take Away Our Care!"
