A core principle shared by supporting organizations is a commitment to nonviolent, peaceful actions.  All actions that are sponsored or organized on this page are intended to be nonviolent and peaceful.  We expect all participants to act lawfully at all times and to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those that disagree with our values.

DESCRIPTION

Congress has set a deadline of April 2 for delivery of the Barr summary of the Mueller Report. If that deadline is not met we are expecting to Rally on Boston Common April 4th at 5 PM. The Barr summary of the Mueller report is wholly inadequate. The way it was edited is highly suspect, and efforts by Mitch McConnell and other Republicans to prevent the full report's release only add to those suspicions. We need to see the report and we need to see it *soon.* The Barr summary raises far more questions than it answers. Former US Attorney Preet Bharara makes the point that the Barr summary is a sanitized version of a complex and in-depth investigation that makes clear that there is credible evidence that the President obstructed justice. Bharara also suggests that the sanitized summary is meant to set the agenda and the tone for public and media response to the investigation, until such time as the public and the media are focused on something else. Let’s be ready to respond…please stay tuned!
