Tracking your absentee ballot: What to know about voting for Georgia’s U.S. Senate runoff elections

If you are planning to vote by absentee ballot for Georgia’s U.S. Senate runoff elections, your ballot is due by 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The runoff election will take place on January 5.

Individual counties began mailing the ballots out on Nov. 18. All ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. on Election Day. They can be mailed in or dropped in an absentee ballot drop box in your county.

You can track it all the way through your vote being processed using Georgia’s ballot tracking system. It will tell you when your ballot has been accepted.

Early voting for the runoff election began on Dec. 14 and ended Dec. 31.
