Please read the descriptions of the Community Support teams that currently have openings. You will have the option to choose which team(s) you would like to be a part of below. Many volunteers serve on more than one team, but please pick just one to start.

The Electoral Research Team is a crucial piece of MoveOn’s political and federal affairs work. As part of the Community Support Campaigns & Mobilizations Squad, this team works closely with MoveOn staff and volunteer leaders to research elections across the country, review and research candidates for potential MoveOn endorsements, and provide other candidate support as needed. All team members will be trained and given the tools and support to do this work according to whatever their time capacity allows. If you have a knack for doing research and want to get more involved in our electoral endorsement work, join this team!

MoveOn's petitions platform is a critical piece of the organizing work we do. It provides individuals and organizations with free tools to win their own grassroots campaigns, garnering millions of petition signatures each year. The vision for this team is to build a solid support structure for member-created petitions. This team is still in the development phase, but if you want to support MoveOn staff and members engaging with in the future, sign up to join this team!

The Member Survey Response Team is crucial to collecting the data MoveOn staff need to make decisions about the work they do. MoveOn sends out member surveys that collect important member feedback and other data. When questions are open-ended, the answers often have a lot of text, with too much content for staff to summarize easily in a meaningful way. This team would provide additional capacity to review and categorize these responses for further analysis. This capacity would improve MoveOn’s ability to listen to members thoroughly and to learn more from our survey responses. All team members will be trained and given the tools and support to do this work according to whatever their time capacity allows. If you want to help MoveOn better listen to our members, join this team!

The User Experience Team will consist of MoveOn members like you who will review specific parts of MoveOn's website and/or digital products and give feedback on what is and isn't working. MoveOn's goal is to improve the user experience as much as possible, and your feedback will be invaluable to us as we continue to work on our site and our digital organizing tools. Team members will be trained and given the tools and support to do their review work according to whatever their time capacity allows. If you would like to play a crucial part in improving the MoveOn digital experience--and be the first to see new pages and tools--join this team!

This team works to ensure our virtual events and trainings run smoothly! Team members are trained to learn many different skills, including coaching, facilitation, virtual chat support, and more during our many livestreams, online events, and trainings. If you want to be behind the scenes ensuring the show goes on successfully, join this team!

This team works closely with our campaign staff and event hosts during MoveOn member days of action. Team members help to facilitate--and many times lead--group and individualized event host prep to ensure every event is a success. If you want to support the event hosts that make our mobilizations happen, join this team!

The Storytelling Team is vital to the success of MoveOn's member storytelling project, focused on uplifting member voices and bolstering our campaigns. These CST volunteers will help facilitate training sessions and participate in 1:1 peer-to-peer coaching with member storytellers to help guide the crafting and impact of their stories. These volunteers will be trained to help storytellers revise and refine their stories to align with the campaign work they are driving. If you want to uplift the voices of MoveOn members and welcome more activists into our community, join this team!
