We know that Donald Trump is erratic and dangerous. We know that he could respond to world events or an attack within the U.S. with sudden and dangerous military escalation or an assault on Americans' civil liberties.

And we can predict right now that in the case of such an event, MoveOn members will be called on to mobilize rapidly, effectively, and strategically to disrupt a domestic crackdown or block a march to war.

That's why we're asking you and hundreds of MoveOn members in every state to help respond within a matter of hours in the event of a national or international emergency. 

Raise your hand to participate if you:

• feel confident in your leadership skills and knowledge of mobilizing and nonviolence;
• have organized at least one event (a rally, a protest, an organizing meeting, a press event, etc.) before; and
• are nimble, adaptable, and able to jump into action quickly.

We hope to never have to respond to a crisis, but should the need arise, we must be prepared to help bring activists into the streets, help organize vigils or rallies, stand in solidarity with any targeted community, and immediately promote alternatives to knee-jerk militarism and authoritarianism. We'll join with allies to offer trainings and equip community volunteers like you to mobilize together quickly in the event of a crisis that threatens the lives or liberties of communities at home or abroad.
