Congress works for US, not MUSK!
Members of Congress are heading to their home districts for recess while Elon Musk is raiding our government. Well Congress works of US, not ELON MUSK. Some representatives have been vocally opposing Musk's hostile takeover of our government, while others are backing Musk's mess.
Plan a public event to remind your representative, your fellow constituents, and the press that Congress works for us, not MUSK. It can be as small or large as you have time for—whether a quick drop-by to the office or a big rally, your event will help.
If you are near an in-district office, do a visibility event outside. If you're not, pick a site that is being impacted by Musk—a federal building, a hospital, etc. If your member of Congress is holding public events for constituents, such as town halls, create an event to recruit others to join you in attending to make your voice heard.
Events are allowed anytime during congressional recess (Feb. 15-23), but we encourage people to host events on Thursday, 2/20, while offices are open.
MoveOn is here to support you throughout this process with an event guide, prep call, and all the tools you need for your local event.
