Donald Trump and the Republicans are trying to push through the most problematic, troubling Cabinet nominees ever, while they wreak daily havoc on immigrants, refugees, Muslims, and many more of us.
So this coming Tuesday, January 31, MoveOn members and allies across the country are presenting Democratic and Republican legislators to stop Trump's #SwampCabinet. Democrats need to use every tool in their toolbox to delay and stop these nominees by forcing 30 hours of debate for every nominee. And just a handful of Republicans who know the #SwampCabinet will hurt their constituents is enough to derail the worst nominees.
We'll also gather at city halls and mayor's offices to demand that our cities and towns stand up for immigrants and declare, in no uncertain terms, #NoBanNoWall.
Last Tuesday, 15,000 of us rallied together at more than 200 events and made national news, changing the terms of the debate. And this weekend's peaceful protests at dozens of airports have already won some reversals in Trump's Muslim ban--but there's more work to do. We're not letting up.
