Email Congress to Protect Background Checks

Just a few weeks ago, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) updated a policy to close a loophole that made it easy for people to purchase guns without a background check. Now, if you want to sell guns, whether at gun shows, at a shop, or online, you must become a licensed dealer and run background checks on all buyers.

The rule change is simple, sensible, and will save lives. But it's at risk of being overturned because the notorious gun lobby is intensely pressuring Congress to stop it.

Send the email below to both of your senators and your representative in Congress to tell them that as a constituent you support expanded background checks and for them to vote to protect the new ATF rule change!
